Payroll items is needed to information catching up registrated time on different activities to be linked to the correct registration code / payroll time in your payroll program. If you need to add a new registration code/payroll item, click on Create payroll item. Then fill in the settings. The save button is activated when all required fields are filled in.
Article No.: Must be the same as in the payroll program. Can be a registration code, payroll type or an expense code depending on which payroll program you have.
Description: Enter what code/payroll item is or what it is used for. The description is shown next to the number in lists.
Unit: Select the unit that the code/payroll item should have. Must be the same as used in the paryoll program.
Reverse sign: Select if you want a transaction that is + in the file to have a - instead. Minus is not often used. Check with Milient Software support or your business consultant.
Use time interval: Checked if the payroll program should handle a period instead of hours day by day as individual records.
Use extent: Checked if it is scope as a percentage of the schedule that is included in the payroll file. Does not work in all payroll programs. Check with support or your Milient Sofware business consultant.
Include notes: Used if you want to include the notes in the payroll program. Is mainly relevant for other types of registrations than expenses. Does not work in all payroll programs. Check with the support or your business consultant at Milient Software.
