# Lock time

## Lock time

To signal that you are done with your registrations you have to lock your time. The locked days will turn grey and can no longer be changed. How often you lock depends on your company's policies. But everyone have to at least lock everything at the end of the month. The different ways are: 

* [Lock month](#lock-month) - locks the whole selected month
* [Lock until day](#lock-until-day) - locks en or more days until the chosen one

**Note!** It is not possible to change anything on a locked day. This includes adding or adjusting other registrations such as expenses. Therefore, always control that you are done before you lock your days/month.

### Lock until day

You can lock until if you go to a specific day. This means that all open days before and including this day will be locked. This will only affect the chosen day if every day before this one is already locked.

### Lock month

In the calendar the whole month is visible. Here it is possible to lock all days of the month. The month you are in will be selected automatically. Use the arrows to switch between the months.
