In the system, there is the configuration which activate a function to indicate the start and end time of each day. That is, when you arrived and when you left for the day, as well as how long lunch you had. This time does not affect the payroll, but is used for an additional check on the length of the working day. This means that you also need to record your time on projects and activities, read more about how time registration works in the section about time registration.
NOTE! This configuration is normally not activated in the system. Please contact our support department if you want to know more about this configuration or if you want to have it activated.
To use the function Start and End time in timeregistratin view, you enter the start and end time, as well as time of lunch deduction under the row Attendance, at the bottom of the time registration view. If you have a standard time in the system for when you start and end, the times will be pre-filled (different configurations are available). Should the actual time deviate from this, you can manually adjust the times.
There are two ways to indicate when you started and ended the day.
Manually enter the time on the current day.
Click on the arrow in front of Start time when you arrive at work and then the arrow in front of End time when you leave. The system will then log the exact minute you arrived and left in the column for the current day.
Regardless of how you choose to record when you arrived and when you left, you will also need to indicate how long your lunch was. This is to deduct the lunch from the attendance time. This is currently done manually on the Lunch deduction field.
