Introduction
The change log is a great tool for visualizing changes made by you or your colleagues in real time. It helps track modifications across projects, tasks, customers, and other key areas.
Where to Find Change logs:
Change logs can be accessed in several places within the system:
Projects: Project Main Page
Customers: Overview > Selected customer > Customer main page and Customer Contacts
Tasks: Task board > Selected task
Quality: Checklist templates, Nonconformities, routines
Offers: View history section
Setup log : General system changes
Customer Change log
There are two types of customer-related changelogs:
Customer Main Page:
Scroll down to the Change Log section.
Click on the text to view all modifications made to customer data, from creation to updates.
Customer Contacts:
Navigate to Customer > Contact and select the relevant customer.
Under the Tags section, you will find a log of when customers were created and when user data was entered or modified.
Project Change log
Located under the Notes section on the project’s main page. Displays all changes from project creation to completion. Any edits made in the project’s Edit field will be recorded in the change log.
Checklist: Select the relevant checklist, under attachment you will find the relevant change log. This will show all changes made to the relevant checklist.
Nonconformities: Click the icon below the changelog to see changes.
Routines: Click on a routine, then in the pop-up window, select the date under Change Log to view modifications.
Task Change log
Navigate to Tasks > Task Board and select the relevant task.
Scroll down to the Nonconformities section to find the Change Log.
The log records all task-related modifications, from creation to the most recent updates, such as adding a tag (marked as “modified”).
Quality Change log
The change log in the Quality section functions similarly to the project change log.
Checklist Templates:
Select the relevant template.
Under Revision, click the Changelog icon to see all recorded changes.
Nonconformity Templates:
Click the Clock icon under the Change Log to view changes sorted by date.
Routines:
Click on the routine’s title to open a pop-up window.
Changes are sorted by date, like nonconformities.
Settings Change log
Found at the bottom of the page, to the left of the Save icon.
Clicking on the Change Log icon will display all recorded modifications, sorted by date.
Offer Change log
Navigate the relevant Offer.
On the right side, under View History, you can see all changes, including modifications to the offer name, currency, and other data points.
Setup Change log:
Navigate to Setup > Settings > Change log
On the left side to the save icon, you will see the change log for all changes in the Company database. These changes are all sorted by date.
