This article will explain the most common settings in the module. Once the customer has been created, you will see the customer profile page.
Here you will see relevant information about the company, its participation in projects, notes, address and other relevant information.
Click the -button to add relevant data to the customer profile, e.g. bank account number, address, email and more.
Invoice preference
More importantly, you can choose preferred invoice type, as well as choose a specific External receiver if you don't want to use the customer email for invoices.
Snailmail refers to regular letter mail
For Norwegian customers, you might prefer to send the invoice in an EHF format. The EHF receiver is retrieved from the customers organization number, which you can add under Company reg. no. when in Edit mode. Read more about EHF here.
Define specific preferences for invoicing the specific customer. A full list of options can be seen in the tab itself, with accompanying descriptions of the different purposes they serve. Read more about invoice settings here.
Invoices
Here you can see all invoices and credit notes sent to the specific customer, or create a new one. Design your invoice report with the help of the columns to your right, and print or download as a PDF or XLSX.
Click the ⚙️-button to edit the status of exported files, or see recent ones.
Customer Ledger
See invoices sent along with the respective payments. Payments can be received as OCR files if KID is activated under Setup > Settings > Invoicing.
Payments can otherwise be manually entered in Moment by opening an invoice under Finance / Invoices and clicking New payment.
Files
The tab Files allows you to upload files that are relevant to the relationship with the customer:
Key statistics
See valuable statistics, like amount invoiced, the customer’s calculated profitability and more.
Click the 🔎-symbol to get a detailed view of each statistic or to Download as Excel-file.
Use the Previous / Next-buttons in the top right corner to swiftly switch between customer profiles.
Merge duplicates
Finally, on the top right corner of the customer's main page, you'll find the option to merge new customers with existing customers in case of duplicates.
