# Tasks report

The report works the same way as any other report in Moment. On the right side you can click on "Show columns", here you can add the different columns you need. It is important to note that this report can be used to batch update several tasks. Once you mark the selection of tasks, simply see if the column header is blue, if it is then you can batch update this specific value.

{% hint style="info" %}
Be aware that batch updating many tasks at once might take a while to fully complete. It is strongly adviced to limit the amount of tasks that you update at once.
{% endhint %}

### Other options:

You can also choose to filter the report based on template tasks, from template projects. To see this, simply look on the right side in this option:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.milientsoftware.com/help/tasks/tasks-report.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
