The Project Status Page offers project managers in the architecture and engineering sectors detailed, project-specific insights to streamline project management. By focusing on the unique aspects of each project, this view helps managers stay aligned with their goals, track progress, and optimize resource use without being distracted by high-level aggregate metrics.
Overview: Track time spent on a project compared to initial estimates to ensure accurate time management.
How it works:
The first graph displays registered hours vs. estimated hours, excluding activities that lack estimates.
The second graph breaks down billable hours vs. non-billable hours, with hours on activities lacking price models counted as non-billable.
Use Case: Quickly identify projects approaching or exceeding estimated hours to address potential overruns.
Overview: Provides visibility into logged billable hours, ensuring financial oversight and effective client billing.
How it Works: Billable and non-billable hours are calculated both in hours and in a percentage of the total registered hours.
Use Case: Verify that project work aligns with billing expectations to maintain profitability and transparency with clients.
Overview: Compares planned hours with registered hours for the previous, current, and upcoming weeks to support resource optimization.
How it Works: Displays hours allocated to team members, originating from the Resource Planner or Project Plan.
Use Case: Identify discrepancies between planned and actual resource use to make adjustments and ensure optimal scheduling.
Overview: Displays the status of project checklists to ensure that all necessary tasks and standards are met.
How it Works:
Tracks items as completed, controlled, or awaiting control (not started).
Gives managers an at-a-glance view of compliance progress.
Use Case: Promote consistency and ensure regulatory adherence by completing all checklist items.
Overview: Unlike other project-specific widgets, this feature provides a broader view of team availability by highlighting absences across all projects.
How it Works:
Displays ongoing absences and upcoming ones (up to 5 entries, sorted by date).
Enables project managers to view absences by team members for all their projects where they are project owner (blue star).
Use Case: Proactively address potential resource gaps caused by absences to avoid disruptions.
