# Projects

### Set up your template

To be able to export projects there needs to be created a template using the Projects datatype. To see more on how to create the template read about the [template editor](/help/moment-by-topic/integrations/file-exports/export-templates/template-editor.md) and [create template](/help/moment-by-topic/integrations/file-exports/export-templates/template-editor/create-template.md).

### Retrieve your file from the system

To retrieve the file with projects, go to **Projects > Report**. \
If there exists an export template using the projects datatype as source there will be found an option to expert projects under the cogwheel icon.<br>

![](/files/-MhDSaJDTN741IF0OUI5)

Upon clicking the Export projects option a dialog will appear where you select your earlier created template. You can have multiple templates if so wanted. \
Then select the from date, this is the date from what time you want to get projects. That are projects that has been created or changed after the set date.\
When these are set, click Export and you will get your file as per defined template.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.milientsoftware.com/help/moment-by-topic/integrations/file-exports/export-templates/projects.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
